Harold Alden Peters, age 84, of Bemidji, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on February 29, 2024 in his home. Born on May 26, 1939, Harold lived a life marked by kindness, a gentle spirit, and dedication to his work and loved ones.
Throughout his life, Harold was recognized for his tender heart. His joyful demeanor and laughter were infectious to all who knew him. Harold's meticulous nature was most evident during his esteemed career as an Aviation Mechanic with United Airlines, where he took great pride in his work.
A veteran of the United States Air Force, Harold served his country with honor and distinction, carrying the values of service and precision throughout his life.
Harold's hobbies included a love for reading, collecting toy cars and planes, caring for his cats, frequenting museums, watching movies centered around his passion for aviation, and spending time at the tranquil Red Lake, MN.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and patience, survived by his cherished step-daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, and his wonderful friend and caretaker, Marilyn. Harold was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Rudy Peters and Alice Urseth, and his wife, Julie Monterrubio.
The memory of Harold's distinct voice and warm smile will forever resonate with those who were fortunate to have shared in his life's journey. He will be profoundly missed and eternally remembered by his family, friends, and all who were touched by his gentle soul.
