Dear Kristin and Charlie, I recently heard of Mike's passing and am truly sorry for your loss. Mike was a classmate of mine from Bemidji High School. Although I moved away from Bemidji years ago, it is clear to me that Mike Pohl was the man who knitted his friends together for life. May God continue to watch over you.
Sincerely, Mark Dillon

Mike was honored to meet and work with all of you, and shared your vision. Thank you for all of your kind words, and June, for propping me up during the ribbon cutting ceremony. He will live on in every student who is inspired by flight.

Very sad to hear of this news. I really enjoyed Mike's company and friendship when I came to the area for one of our DirtWise schools that he was instrumental in helping set up. A great guy who was very positive, had a fine outlook on life, and was just happy to help out!!! Give it heaps mate!!!

Shane, thank you for your kind words. Mike was absolutely thrilled to work with you and take part in your school with Charlie. To this day he still has your signed photo on the wall in his office. He always told me the only things he loved more than riding his dirt bike were myself and Charlie, it almost seems fitting that he left us that way. We are still in shock, but trying to get through the days. He leaves a really big hole in this world.

The news hit hard. My first response was "why Mike?", just as everyone else thought. Many good memories shall linger. Mike and I enjoy the passion of Flight along with riding. We always had some story to share. He was a hoot sometimes. He was an inspiration to a lot of people, myself included.
My very best to Family and Friends. I've heard the single track "up there" is legendary!!!!!! I'll meet You there, Mike. I'll meet You there.

Thank you Al, yours is a name I heard often from Mike. He definitely tried to live his life to the fullest, we just wish we would have had more years with him. His dirt bike family was very important to him, he cut a wide swath through this world.

Our deepest sympathies to the Pohl family. Mike was truly such a kind person. I especially liked all his Facebook posts. Such a zest for life. Our family has known Mike since our son, Jayme, started racing and Mike was out taking pictures of the youth races. One visit with Mike and you felt like you had known him for many years. We will miss him and am so glad we had a chance to know Mike. Rest In Peace Mike!!

Thank you for your kind words. Mike was never happier than on his dirt bike, unless it was behind the camera. He treasured his dirt biking family.

Oh Bob, he loved riding with the Maki family so much. He was never happier than on his bike, unless it was behind his camera taking pictures of everyone else. Thanks for everything you are doing to honor him, it means so much to Charlie and I.

My deepest sympathies to all who know Mike. Having ridden with him numerous times on minute one at enduros where he always planned to get out ahead of the group and take pictures of everyone from Vantage points in the woods. His generosity was apparent in the value he placed on comradery and helping to make the events fun and memorable for everyone. We will miss him on our next ride. Peace and all speed to you Mike
